Some times there is errors with 2 Decals on the same part on opposite sides inside a drawing.

Please add feature to hide off decals.

Thanks J

Hi @IJamesBond,

That's a great idea! I'd recommend posting that in the Idea Station.

Also, what kind of errors are you seeing when this happens?

If you're still seeing this after the latest update, can you please post a screenshot of the distortion you're seeing?

Has this feature been added?  I have issues with decals displaying in the opposite face of a body, and a bit distorted in places.

In addition, there are times when I just don't want to see them!

Of course Decals only show up when you have a Shaded view.  Also, it is not in the drawing, but if you make them invisible in the model, they are invisible in the drawing view also.  Of course you have to save the assembly after you make them invisible and update the drawing.

Thanks John. Most of the problem is that I've only been using F360 for a bit over a week. As a retired hobbyist I've been using 2D diagrams with Inkscape, and thought it time to learn 3D.

So far I have managed to sketch a wingsail used by the SailGO F50 catamarans. Both wing and flap are in 4 sections each, got those profiled, and lofted.

I probably jumped in a bit deeper than I should have, and tried rendering and adding decals. I now see that the decals are also listed in the Browser and can be made invisible there.

However, the display of decals in Render has disappeared despite being set to visible in the browser - may be due to a crash of my under-powered laptop.

I don't know what is meant by a "Shaded view", is that a setting somewhere in Render?

Shaded view is one of the five or six, I cannot remember as I am away from my computer, types of drawing views.  When you create a drawing view it is one of the settings in the dialog box.
