Pipe tool bug ?

Dites ? ça vient de moi ou avant ,avec l'outil pipe, on pouvait faire une rainure triangulaire avec un des côtés du triangle vertical et non horizontal comme maintenant ?

[En]

Say? It comes from me or before, with the pipe tool, we could make a triangular groove with one of the sides of the vertical triangle and not horizontal like now?

no, today there is no way to do this with Pipe.  You will have to draw a triangle and use Sweep to get this result.

Hi @jeff_strater can you confirm it was possible but it is no longer possible? Because the original poster was surprised to see that functionnality removed, thanks.

I am fairly certain that there was never a way to control the orientation for triangle or square profiles in Pipe.  Nothing has changed in that area in a very long time.

Ok thanks for your answer, user says he used to do that. (link to his message on the Facebook group).

It's not a logical way, but still possible 😉

that is certainly clever, so you are correct there is a way to sort of control the orientation by manipulating the path within world space.  However, that seems like a lot of work to go through, and I'm not convinced that it will work in all cases.  If it were me, I'd just use Sweep.  You can control the angle precisely, and produce cuts that are any shape.
