PCB Design Error - "The 2D and 3D PCB documents are out of sync"

I'm trying to create my first single-sided PCB board in F360 and getting the error "The 2D and 3D PCB documents are out of sync." There is no information given on how to correct the error and forums/google searches have not yielded anything that worked.

I'd love to know what I did incorrectly to get this error, as well as how to solve it.

Steps taken:
- create schematic (placed parts, drew nets, created names/labels)
- switched to PCB view, saved
- derived 3D pcb from sketch profile in an existing design
- linked 3d pcb to previously created pcb view
- moved parts around on the pcb view
- saw the error

Other notes:

- all files have been open the whole time (I read somewhere if you close one and make changes, they can't sync).

Happy to provide more documenation and/or details as needed. I'm new to PCB design, and a novice at F360.

I think I figured it out. It seems you have to manually update, and it's different depending on where you made changes.

If you made changes in the 2D PCB design, you save and then push the "View 3D PCB" button at the top-right of the Design menu.

If you made changes to the 3D profile, you have to click the "Push to 2D PCB button" in the top menu.

Did I get that right?

Not the most logical button to sync with, maybe rename it or give a hit in the error in a future update?

Maybe - but my latest version of Fusion 360 doesn't have a 'Push 2D to 3D' button on the design tab?

From the routing schematic:

Design>Switch>View PCB with Options

It only took an hour to find. 😕
