Pattern along path no longer follows 3-dimensional paths

Disclaimer: my user interface is German, so I may not be getting all English function names 100% right - I hope you understand what I mean.

Since the last update, the pattern along path funcion does not work as before anymore. To create surface detail on complex surfaces, my workflow was to project a parth onto the surface and to arrange raised or recessed details along this path using the "follow path direction" option. In the past, the duplicated object perfectly followed the 3D curvature of the path - this is no longer the case. The object now only follows a 2D curvature rendering this function which was super useful until now pretty much useless. I hope this functionality can be "backdated" to make it work as before again.

Hi,

please share the file

File > export > save as f3d on local drive > attach to post

I cannot share the full file I'm afraid and I think if I export the affected body only, the projected paths won't be included if I'm not mistaken.

Hi,

1. please create your reply to a single post instead of "Post Reply".
2. Show the behavior in a sample file

Hi,

1. no idea what you mean.

2. I have created a copy of the part and the sketches.

What I want Fusion to do (as in the past...) is to arrange the raised detail along the highlighted path. The detail has to follow the curvature of the path and the curvature of the surface. This has worked perfectly well in the past but now, it only follows the path and ignores the curvature of the surface.
