Parts List Contains Version Number and Other Abnormalities

Question about Fusion auto Parts Lists:

• When importing other parts into a Fusion assembly, Fusion automatically adds the version history number to the name of the linked file. This is impacting my Parts Lists where the Part Names now contain the version number. Is it possible to remove this? 
• I have a component with two sub-components. The auto parts list has listed these components as 9.1 and 9.7 - why not 9.2?

The long winded video will explain why the Item numbers skip, which you cannot change and how to get rid of the version number, which is generated automatically by Fusion.  Do not shoot the messenger, this is how Fusion 360 does it.
