As soon I try to insert a part into Fusion from the Partcommunity website it takes me to the Partcommunity login page. I enter my username and password but nothing happens after that. I have tried to re-activate my account, re-send a email to put in activation key, tried to create a new account. Nothing works. I get to this point and cannot get further.

I am working from home so there is now Firewall preventing me from going further. I have tried doing it from working on a PC as well as a Mac. I have tried doing it via Chrome and Microsoft Explorer on my PC  as well as Safari on the Mac. Each time the same problem?

I am an academic, working with an education licences Fusion account. Could that be part of the problem?

I do not have any issues with the PartCommunity through Fusion 360.  I would suggest you try to log into the Part Community OUTSIDE Fusion 360 to one, check your log-in, correct your log-in if you have trouble.  If you can log on, you can download your components and insert them into Fusion360.  I would use a SAT or STP (STEP) format.  Here is the link to the Part Community.

Dear John,

Thank you very much for your quick responce and advice. I managed to register via the web link you provided, i.e. outside the Fusion 360 environment. I am in the process of downloading the 3D files onto my computer and will insert them into my design as you suggested.

I have tried again to log in via Fusion and is still encountering the same problem. Very frustrating.

Any case, you suggested run around should work.

Good luck with the Corona Virus situation in the USA. Things are looking grim from over here, watching American TV.

Best regards – Johann
