Parameters changes behavior after reopening file

I design and build up a lot of fixturing inside fusion using pre existing components. I normally just drag and drop the components I need into a new design and brake the link to the original, if I need two or more I just drag and drop extras. So far it still works as before but when I go to change parameters on these components I have started to have isues if I have two or more of the same component. When more than one component of the same exists fusion creates a new parameter for this, so if the first component had "hight" the second has "hight_1" and so on. Previously I changed value of "hight" only the first component changed as it should, now it still does until I close and reopen the file. When reopened suddenly "hight" controlls both components and this causes alot of isssues.

Please attach your problem model.  Open it in Fusion 360, select the file menu then the Export command and save to your hard drive.  Attach it to a reply post.

Here's a file with this issue but the problem isn't in a perticular file it's in all files, old as new.

It sounds like you may be experiencing a bug in Fusion 360 where the parameters of components are not being properly linked when you have multiple copies of the same component in your design.

I reinstalled fusion and it didn't help but I seem to have located when the bug occurs, when I insert old models into another design(new or old) it stops working when reopened. If I create a new design and then insert it into another design it carries over all my parameters correctly. Saddly this means that I have to recreate all my fixture components to get them to work properly. Open and save them again doesn't seem to work.fusion360_parameterbug1.pngfusion360_parameterbug.png
