Parameter change introduces feature warnings

Parameter change introduces feature warnings

I'm new to Fusion 360, but have experience with parametric design. In the attached file I am able to change the "width" parameter without issue, but changing the "height" parameter from 80mm to 100mm results in the "Lid Mounts" remaining in place, and a warning on that extrusion feature. With my design intent of the mounts remaining in the corners. What am I missing here?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for posting. There is a bug here. Workaround: If you use small increments, the sketch will compute correctly. This will get logged in a ticket for the sketch team.

Thanks,

Interesting to know.

I experience similar issues, and have to change parameters by small steps to succeed.
Thanks for updates on this.

It seems that I can increment up to 8mm at a time and still maintain integrity.

I never would have thought to try incremental changes. Brilliant! Many thanks. I was pulling my hair out on this.

Thanks for the updates. And to be clear, this is not something that happens by design so we definitely want to fix it.

Hi Phil, any update on this bug?

My models have the same issue and I would like to type in my final dimensions instead of cycling through increments 🙂

@designYZXM9  It's likely you are experiencing a different bug. The results might be similar, but if you test the original file attached to this post you'll find the model updates without incremental changes.

Could you perhaps share a model so I can log a fresh ticket for it?
