over a minute for selection?

I am trying to create offsets, everything is closed on my computer, it has an i7 processor so I can't figure out how it is using 2.5 GB of ram and pegging the CPU into into "Not Responding" status for selecting 6 letters for over a minute. How is fusion 360 this incredibly demanding for selecting 6 letters? I'm not trying to create a masterpiece here, its 2D lettering which is the equivalent of adding a second color to a paint file.

Hi,

If we see the file, we would know what you were talking about.

You can keep asking for the file on every post but it does not change the fact that fusion 360 behaves the way it does.

I don't think I am looking to hear about how a problem that exists is or is not a problem for someone else at this point, its pretty obvious I am looking for software suggestions of something that works at this point.

Hi,

I wonder why you post here if you are not interested in solving a problem.

you are welcome to start your own thread about that question if you have a problem with the fact that posts are not required to solve a problem.

someone might just want to save the world from starting to use a piece of garbage software with horrible support.

@anthonyrossi01 oh c'mon, knock it off. It's a valid question; "Can we see the file?" No, selection of "six simple letters" isn't an intensive task, and should be executed promptly. However, if it's an .svg file that's turned into a million little lines, that's going to be a problem. Is it native data, or imported? Are there other factors at play that we don't know about?

I have also seen slowdowns since last version. 1 or two second lags here and there when selecting, four seconds when validating an input... I've been bothered by that increasingly for a few days.

The logic can easily be demonstrated with the actual file.

Attach the file and end all doubt.

I agree with you.
But this is not the way to save the world, as the TO aspires to do.

What you see as a valid question, looks like harassment to others and as you can see the member goes on to instigate which is why he was reported so I think you are asking the wrong person to knock it off. I am not obliged to participate in the forum how others would like me to or for purposes they deem appropriate no matter how much they want to spend their time here leaving comment after comment that is not responded to.

Original poster just came in for a rant. He does not want to help in solving what he saw, he disregards the app for being crap.

Sometimes you have to vent gasses. He did, there is no need for anyone to stay around and smell it.

Move on with your lives, as he tells you. Please.
