Orbiting with Viewcube

Hello, I have been experiencing a glitch when using the viewcube and will try to explain it below.

I often have to take my macbook out on the road without any external mouse so have to make do with the track pad. Gestures work fine for panning but occasionally i need to click on the viewcube to change my view angle. when I click and drag to the edge of the screen it begins rapidly spinning the model. This has only happened relatively recently and I remember the cursor used to wrap around to the other side of the screen. I am really unsure as to how this has happened and cant find much information about it online, any ideas?

I am sure you have a left click select button and I assume Macbooks have function keys.  If you set your Pan,Zoom, Orbit shortcuts to Inventor, the "F4" key and the left button drag is Orbit.  Maybe this is an option rather than the ViewCube.

This is a known behavior of the view cube. There are several workarounds, @jhackney1972  points out one of them. 

Shift + two finger drag will orbit the view.

or

Using Tinkercad navigation mode + Trackpad preference "secondary click" set to click in bottom right or left corner, pressing and holding the secondary click will orbit the view.
