Orbit and Pan stand still till button release

For a long time now I have the problem that the 3D view is not updated during pan and orbit (using shift+middle and middle). However, the changes take effect when the keys are released. The view will "jump" to the new perspectiv. The orbit and pan duration does not matter, so it does not seams like a sudden FPS drop. Clicking around often clears the problem for some time until i appears again somewhat random.

Is this the feature i can turn off?

I'm running Fusion on a Mac with latest Mac OS and latest Fusion.

Hi @Jannik_Kr ,

Are you able to take a Screencast of what you are seeing? It is tough to say and doesn't sound like described behavior. I'm on a Mac and when I use Shift+Middle to orbit, it will update the view as I orbit, not once I let go.

I know it is sporadic but any video capture of what is happening would be most helpful. The one thing I'd note is ensure that you aren't hitting other buttons OR see if hitting escape helps. I've seen this before on Macs where the buttons almost get "stuck" on a software side of things. (I've had it happen where orbit is permanently still selected even after I let go of the hot keys).

Thanks,

I got some footage of the issue. Now only while panning. The funny thing is, that even when this is appening, i can still my space mouse and pan/orbit very smoothly. It is not connected all the time, so i don't thing it's a problem with the space mouse.

@James.Youmatz In regard to the screencast, any ideas what causes this behavior?

Hi @Jannik_Kr ,

What is your CPU usage when this happens? Also, can you go to the Help menu, Support and Diagnostics and select Graphics Diagnostics. Can you take a screenshot of the dialog?

Thanks,
