Open related drawing from design

is there any way to open related drawing for selected part/component?

Or is there any way to link drawing to part/component?

This is possible if you have the drawing open.  You can right click on the component in the drawing browser and open the related model.  I am sure this is not what you are actually asking, you want to open from the actual file listing but I thought I would mention it.

I actually  want the opposite, Right click model/part/component in browser while in design mode and find related 2D drawing like it is in other CAD softwares.

Checking in from 2024, is this still not possible?

I have an assembly with hundreds of parts, each with a drawing created for that part. How can I open the drawing of a specific part from the component/design window? I have an option to create a new drawing by rightclicking on the component, but no "open existing/linked drawing" 

Am I missing something, or is this really not an available feature in this program after all these years?

Yeah, I think we all know this exists, but the opposite link is far more useful and not present.

How is this not a feature? I thought I was unable to find a feature that is a no brainer but it's just not there!

It is possible and it is done from the Data Panel.  You do not even have to open the design model to do it.

This works with a few clicks, It's quicker than browsing. Not as convenient as right click open drawing.

Anyway to vote on this as a new feature: Right click in browser open related drawing(s), pop to select if more than one?

Also is there way to get the data panel to show which file is open in front of you to use the work around effectively?
