Bit of a trap with dimensioning of offset section view. See attachment.

Is there a work around?

What is the purpose of these section views?

Purpose of the two section views is to demonstrate the issue with dimensioning.

I don't claim to be an expert but I think it works as expected.

I have just tried to repeat your plumb and off-plumb section views and can't seem to snap to similar points...It is either snaps to the corner or midpoint of the rectangle. What are these circled?tt.png

The circled features are 'additional points'. Refer item 4. in the attached.

Ok never knew about that! What dimension would expect to be displayed and importantly communicated in your example? Or would you prefer that it, dimensioning, was not an option as in the Isometric option?Screenshot 2023-11-26 123931.png

After further reviewing the output of different bent section lines. refer attachment, I have reached the conclusion that the way it works now is probably the most logical. Just a possible trap for new players like me.

Only other note is that I could not reassociate dimensions in main view.
