Objects in sketch not centered to each other

I have a problem that I don't know why I should have to solve.
I have an object with a plate. When the plate was first created I used the center rectangle to make a rectangle and then extruded it 5 mm. Then I created a new sketch and made a new center rectangle and clicked in the center where the triangle is on the first extruded rectangle and wrote in the dimensions. The length of the new rectangle is the same but the width is wider.
When I finish the sketch the second rectangle is not centered with the first rectangle. It's displaced on the short side with 1-2 mm. How do I center the two rectangles when they both have the same length? I tried to align, tried to measure to origin, remove constraints, add constraints and the rectangles still won't move or line up.
This is basal and I don't grip it as I find Fusion 360 to be abstract and unnecessary circumlocutory. I'm a beginner when it comes to Fusion 360 but for someone that been working daily with different kind of intuitive graphics programs for the last 35 years this is very frustrating and Fusion 360 is certainly not my friend.
Attached is a snapshot of the "project".
