.obj model does not render correctly

Hi.

I have imported a couple of .obj files, containing people with textures. However, when rendering, they appear as steel. Can someone help me understand how I make them render correctly? see enclosed images. Screen Shot 2022-02-24 at 10.48.36 PM.pngmann_2_2022-Feb-24_09-46-26PM-000_CustomizedView19965508167_jpg.jpg

yes, it is possible, if a bit finicky.  See this topic:  importing-a-obj-file-with-associated-mtl-and-jpg , and make sure you follow all the steps there.

Hello Andre

Did you figure out how to solve your problem?
I have the same issue, and tried the solutions presented through the link by Jeff.
But it seems to be adressing only the problem of importing and displaying an OBJ with its textures in the Fusion360 workspace.  And judging from the images you sent, you already had that solved.
Here is what happens for me: The OBJ is successfully loaded with its textures and displayed in each workspace, but it will not render.

Is there a way to render an OBJ in Fusion360 with the textures it came with?
Or is there any other mesh file format that would allow for that?
The purpose is to put people in the background or interacting with things objects actually modeled in Fusion360.

I have the same bug when i try to render an imported mesh with a fusion library texture it will render in the final render as a steel texture, Fusion team please help! I mean it can only be a assignment issue of the texture.

Autodesk-Team - any progress on this?

Would be nice to render the texture as well, not only a steel body. I've been here 2 years ago and had today the same problem and...still no texture rendering. Please make this happen 🙂
