I made an object in Blender, but when imported into Fusion 360, there seems to be many faces and edges I did not create that show up.
Here, you can see it in Blender -

And the exact same mesh, downloaded as an OBJ file and imported into Fusion 360 -

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I attached the file to this post if you want to look at it yourself, thanks for helping if you can!

Most of the top and bottom surface are one big N-gon and IMHO (after about 15 years in Blender) would not consider this a properly modeled part. Can you elaborate what you want to do with this in Fusion 360.

This should not take you longer longer than 30-40 minutes to remodel in Fusion 360 from scratch.

Should I attempt to make the mesh all triangles? I am attempting to integrate the saw into a larger structure I have already modeled in Fusion 360.

I am fairly new to Fusion 360 so I'm not too fast at modeling in it, and for more complex and organic structures like this shape I find it much easier and faster to just model it in Blender and import it than to model it in Fusion 360. Like you said, it would probably take me at least 40 minutes to make this in Fusion, but I was about to make it in less than 10 in Blender.

No, that would be utter nonsense!

With all due respect, this is a pretty terrible model in Blender as well!

You can spend more time in Blender to make a proper polygon or a Sub-D model or a proper model in Fusion 360.
