No Sketch Dimensions available ??

Looks like I am probably missing something very simple but I don`t appear to have the facility to add dimensions to a Sketch, the "Sketch Dimensions" facility is "greyed out" for some reason, any assistance appreciated, see image.

It looks like you are not currently editing a sketch.  You need to be in sketch mode to create dimensions.  Right click on the sketch item and choose Edit Sketch to begin editing that sketch.

Hmmm, very odd, I had done that procedure and it didn`t work at all

However after much playing around with it I finally gave up and deleted the document and created a new one from scratch and behold it now works pretty much as it should on the new document and now on previously saved ones where it had stopped working as well.

I can only assume that I did something wrong somewhere along the way that "broke" or "corrupted" that facility, wish I could remember what it was

Anyway, thanks again for the response, appreciated, all`s well that ends well
