Newest Update takes 20 minutes to load

After the recent update this week, Fusion 360 now takes 20+ minutes to load and more often than not crashes on the splash screen and won't open at all.

My computer is not exactly a budget machine:
i5 4590
32GB RAM
1070ti

Windows 10, latest updates

I have deleted all temporary files and cleared the user cache, as well as uninstalled and reinstalled the entire Fusion 360 installation, to zero effect.

This sounds like anti-virus activity. Your log files might show what's going on in that 20 minutes. If you could reproduce the effect and then gather the logs to post here it would help me take a look.

Once Fusion starts, does it operate normally?

no, compared to the update prior it is extremely choppy and uses considerably more system resources than before.

Hi,

Try the following:

create a new system user (WIN/MAC) install Fusion there and start it with your "old" Fusion account.
