I’m very new to CAD and struggling with creating inserts around the edge of a circle

i want to 3D an adaptor to fit into a water bottle spanner (photo attached)

i can create the circles required i just cant create the sections around it for the spanner to fit into

Can anyone point me in me in the direction of tutorials that will guide me

Any help gratefully recieved

Here's a few pointers. Draw the 2 circles for the core and outside of the spline. Note the 2 lines have a vertical constraint and a parallel. Also note the horizontal constraint between the endpoints of both lines.

Then pattern. Just select the 3 faces that form the tooth.

EDIT. Files attached just edit the sketch and features from the timeline.

Awesome, thank you. The circular pattern was the key

I've put an initial model together now. I need to get my hands on a part to finalise it though

Thanks
