Hello,

while I understand a price update, nothing wrong with that but 120€ (480€ instead of 360€) is quite a lot, I love F360 but it still has some bugs and some important features missing (like export options on FBX, USD etc models or simple USD export instead of only USDz, not to talk about animations, a full featured UV editor etc. So ok, I'll pay the new price, I don't have the choice, but hope things will improve in the next year because honestly I'm not so happy with this kind of price update, in the beginning F360 was free, then you had to pay for it, no issue for me, but if it goes up too much I'll probably have to look for alternatives.

I've also been using Adobe Create Cloud since years and I never saw such an important price update, while you get quite a lot for the money.

This price increase is indeed a lot and personnaly I would prefer bug fixes on the main product (where nothing seems to move anymore) than developping new features. I don't need electronics and I suppose 90% of the users don't either. And Probably electronic developpers already have their tool.

Generative design is probably very cool but I don't need it either.

For milling 3d is enough for me and in the insdustry where they use big 5 axes machines, I doubt Fusion will ever be common.

May be before starting developping, you should ask who will use it.
I liked (notice the passed temp) Fusion because it was afordable and easy to start with. If it is 480 € I will seriously search for something else. Even if it means exporting al my stuff into the other "world".

The thing is at this present time I feel trapped. So if you'd ask me if I would recommand F360 then I would say no.

How about a small licence where you can pick the features you want ?

I completely agree with you.

Fortunately and contrarily to what was sent to me by mail regarding the price update, my yearly July subscription price was still 375€, but if it will become 480€ as mentioned in the mail from autodesk then I must admit that I might look for alternatives too, but the issue is that I have so many things done in F360, I know the software so it will be hard to move to another platform.
The small licence where you pick features you really need could indeed be a good option, but I was ok with the old price and what's most important is the bug fixes and updates that are usefull for most users.
Question, what are good alternatives and are there any F360 compatible software that can do the same as Fusion 360 and even more ? I never really tried out some of the more expensive software but I'm curious.

Just another thing. I haven't done any milling in a while. I come back to it and see that now you have to configure a machine. I used to call upon a cps file. That doesn't seem possible now. So also you may call it improvement, I call it a waste of time as I will have to go true that process of configuration once again and loose a few hours  and I should pay more for this  !!!

Are you going to change the name to Fusion 420 ?
