I have a personal license and running the latest updated fusion 360 on windows 10 machine.
My licenses is valid until July next year

I experiencing a number of problems that seem to be related to my account.

1) Upload button disabled

  • from the desktop, if I select a project, the upload button is disabled (except for Demo project which upload works)
  • from myhub, the upload option is available for all my projects

2) New projects disappear

  • From the desktop
    • if a create a new project, it disappears as soon  as I refresh the project list
    • if I go into a newly created project and press "Open on the Web",  myhub say " You are logged in as X, log in as different user
    • Myhub never shows any of the newly created projects from the desktop that have disappeared
  • From myhub, I can create a new project and it can been seen in the Desktop (but desktop will not allow me to upload files - see above problem)

3) Filters

  • From the desktop
    • Selecting "Owned by me" filter results in all my projects disappearing
    • Selecting "Shared with me" and all my projects can be seen
  • From myhub
    • Selecting "Owned by me" filter results in all my projects being displayed (as expected)
    • Selecting "Shared with me" only the Demo project can be seen (as expected)

4) My  Profile

  • From the desktop if I select "my profile", myhub reports "You are logged in as X, log in as different user"
  • From the desktop if I select "Autodesk account", it opens no problems

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software with no affect

Also, a little while ago,  I could not log into fusion 360 and I was forced to uninstall and reinstall Fusion 360.

I am guessing this is when the problems began

Log files attached

Does anybody have any suggestions or experience similar problems

Thanks

From your description, you are using two login IDs. More than once Fusion is telling you that you are logged in as another user, that's a strong clue that you are using two logins, and probably have two accounts.

The other way you can tell is by what you said about "owned by me" vs "shared with me". Who is the account sharing projects with you in that scenario?

A single user cannot possibly share a project with their own account, so there must be two separate accounts involved here. An easy way to determine this:

1. Open Fusion 360. Filter for "shared with me".

2. Enter one of the projects shared with you.

3. Click the people tab

4. Is there more than one name on the list?

Hi @Phil.E ,

Thanks for your reply.

I agree it sounds like I have 2 accounts but I am unaware of having 2 login. I always use the same login email address.

Following your suggestion, the attached screenshot show the people of a project selected from "Share with me" filter. It only shows my email that I used to login with.

I went into my Autodesk - Account and check the "All products and Services".

Interesting it shows 2 entries for Fusion 360 (Not sure if this is normal)

1) Fusion 360

    1 seat . personal . single user

2) Fusion 360

    personal

Thanks for your help

Thanks for the details. This one is a bit deeper than my area of expertise so I've asked for some help to get it sorted.

Hi @Glendon.stella
This issue could be a problem with your old and deprecated personal hubs.

To solve this problem, you should create a new team hub and then move all your personal content to this new hub. To do this, please follow the next steps:

1.- First all, login to your Fusion account

2.- Visit the URL https://autode.sk/teamonboarding. You will see a screen like the image bellow :

Image-1.png

3.- Maybe you will request for login to your account. Just do it and continue to get a new screen.

4.- Like in the image below, on the left side, you could see the content in your personal hub. On the right side, you have the option to create a new team hub and check it to confirm that it will be the destination for your content.

Enter the new team hub name, for this example “My new team hub”, check the radio button and, on the right side, select projects you need to move and finally press on Next button.

5.- You will see the next message on the screen

If you are not moving content to a previously existing team hub you don’t need to do anymore, just press the Finish button.

If you are moving content to an existing hub, you have the option to indicate what members of your team can access the new content, and then, press the Finish button.

6.- After a few seconds, you could see the dashboard of your new team hub with your content just moved.

And that’s it!

I hope to have helped!

Hi @hector.arenas

Thanks for your solution, this fix the account so I can now create new projects and import into them. Most of my existing projects, did not come over in the process but I have back up of these which I have manually imported.

Really appreciated your help, thanks

Glen
