New Fusion360 update won't upload Solidworks files?

Hey there. Really hoping someone can help out quickly.

I have a few designers that do work for my company, however, they all use Solidworks. When they are done a design, they send it to me and I can check it out on Fusion 360, modify some minor aspects, and then save it as a .STEP file for our fabricators to use to make the parts. This has worked for a while without issues.

However, just yesterday morning, the latest file got sent to me, and I cannot open or upload it to Fusion 360 (F360). The progress bar on the Job Status screen stays at "0%" and does not have a cancel button next to it. Basically, everytime I try to open a file, it allows me to (no error messages), but no progress is ever made.

I went back and tried to open a file that I just reviewed the day before, and it too didn't open. I did it for assembly and individual part files. I cleared the cache. I uninstalled and reinstalled Fusion360. Nothing.

I can however still open F3D files and .STEP files, but just not Solidworks related files.

The one thing I did notice, that the very first attempt at opening a file yesterday morning, F360 was paused to download the latest version of F360. After it was done, the Solidworks files no longer worked.

Anyone else experience this?

Can you Attach an example *.sldprt file that you cannot open?

Are your co-workers on the latest version of SolidWorks?

Are you on a paid subscription license of Fusion or on a free license?

Hey. Thanks for the reply.

Seems as though this issue was already known to Autodesk, and they released an update for Fursion360 last night. I downloaded the software update, restarted Fusion 360, and the Solidworks files opened!

To answer your questions though. I have a paid suscription, and the designers are using a range of versions of Solidworks. 2020 to 2022.

Thanks!
