New DXF export default units

Any way we can make the DXF export from sketch units match the system units? I will never export a DXF in centimeters.

Since the update this week it has already caused some problems. We generate dozens of DXFs a day and having one more step to do in changing the units increases our odds of an erroneous file being submitted.

Hi, thanks for letting us know. Just to be clear, the export will default to the document units. Are the active units CM?

Hi! Active / default units for both the model and flat pattern are in inches, when I export from a sketch to DXF it defaults to CM on the export screen (shown in initial post).

Tangently related: I do like that the DXF export for flats was revisited in this last update, the ability to remove bend lines for DXF export is a welcome change. I do wish there was a way to remove them in the drawing of the flats though. My work around has always been extruding the flat so that a new body covers up the sheet metal part with bend lines in the flat pattern environment (also how I would get bendline-less DXFs before this week). Just thought I'd mention that.

(love that length and mass dimensions can be set differently now)

Hi again.

Thanks for the feedback about new features. Glad the updates are making a difference.

I found the issue. Are you on a mac? I see this issue only on mac, and not on windows.

Got it. That was my error. When I tested windows I failed to create a custom setup, but on mac I did create a custom setup. That's the issue here. Any custom combination of units will result in exports defaulting to CM, on any operating system. Thanks for letting us know, I've asked for this to be fixed on priority, because the root of this "improvement" is to allow you to use custom units, and this issue you show us clearly makes that harder instead of easier. Thanks!
