Nesting DXF files

I am importing DXF files from Rhino and creating G code to cut with my Plasma.  I am trying with out luck to nest the parts using the new arrange feature.  Is this possible and if so, what might I be doing wrong

If your DXF files are imported only as sketches, the Arrange command will not work.  Arrange only works on components.

Thanks for your quick reply. Can you think of a work around that might help me get a DXF like the attached JPEG to be able to nest in fuision.

I created a Screencast of the process I would use to get individual DXF files to a point I could use the Manufacturing Environment  "Arrange" function.  Steps are:

  1. Open each DXF in a separate file and save as a component.
  2. Create an assembly and place the components into it, as many of each type as desired
  3. Go to your Manufacturing environment and Arrange them on a predefined sheet.

I included my model also.  I took it a little further than the Screencast and finish setting up the material and toolpath for a laser cut.

If you create a block for each shape in Rhino then save as a DWG, each block will create a component in Fusion. DXF does not seem to work as it uses local translation, DWG is done in the cloud. Try the attached DWG, not sure why but it took quite a while to translate using open, uploading through the data panel was a lot quicker.
