Need help getting rid of RED update banner

I have the red update banner indicating my fusion 360 is out of date, and must be updated NOW.

The help doc says a dialog will popup to fix everything, but of course it doesnt.

I know I need to uninstall fusion and reinstall it again with the latest version, but I cant find the latest version anywhere on this site, or any other autodesk site. Even a link to all the versions would be nice, but I just cant find that bugger

It also does NOT show in my product updates (just blank), so I am stuck with the "red banner from hell" and still stuck in version 2.0.9313 with no apparent way of updating as required.

Any help appreciated...Henry

Before renstalling Fuiosn 360 you shoukld probably do a clean uninstall an the link here described how to perform an automaic clean uninstall.

You should be able to go to to yor Autodesk Account and find the appropriate download link. In my 5+ years with Fusion 360 I only had to dothis twice and did not know this when I had to do tist the first time. It's easy if you know , but really frustrating if you don't!

The screencast tool is a bit flaky with anytjhing but Fusion 360 but the screencast should be understandable anyway.

Thanks, I hoped that would work since I havent had time to attempt a full un-installation. Still have the banner so time to just suck it up and uninstall the thing.

Thanks...Henry

Thanks Peter, I havent uninstalled Fusion 360 yet, but have been able to work just fine after closing the red banner out. I thought after jan 6th I would be required to update, but I am still able to work just fine, so I am wondering whether any work I have done since the january 6th will be a problem after I finally update Fusion 360.

This page says I would not be blocked from working after 1/6/2021 so Im confused. why I can still use F360. https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/simplecontent/content/requireme...

Thanks...Henry

Are you on Windows OS or are you on a Mac OS?

FYI, Heres a screenshot of the python error I get when Fusion tries to bring up the dialog.

I don't know how it works on a Mac, but on Windows machines we have a file (search for location) named Fusion 360 Client Downloader*.exe

Double clicking on the file starts a download and install of latest release of Fusion 360.
