Named Views don't update in Simulation

I'm trying to export some screen shots showing the differences in strain across different designs, but with the same forces.  I want to use a named view so I can take a screenshot from the same location each time.  However, if I created a custom named view in the Design workspace, or if I reset the Home view, then try to pull that up in the simulation workspace, the custom named view doesn't appear, and if I use my new "home" view, it just sends me to the old default home view.

I've saved the file, closed, and reopened.  Same results.

Hi @alex_rosePX4V2,

I've confirmed the issue, and can offer a workaround.

  • Define a named view in the Simplify workspace for the Simulation Model. The named view(s) for the Simulation Model will be available in the Simulation workspace. However, renaming the view is not available.

Issue FUS-103742 is open to address deriving the Named Views from the Design to the Sim Model. I've included your post to elevate the need to address this in a future release.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
