My sketch is jumping when I change radius of a corner.

Hi,

I've just started learning Fusion 360, and have gone through a fair amount of tutorials, which are all fine, but as soon as I try to work on my own projects I very quickly run in to walls making me think I'm missing something very fundamental in the logic in Fusion. I have a long list of problems, but this one is very easy to demonstrate, so I thought I'd start with that and see if anyone can push me in the right direction and perhaps understand the logic behind a bit better.

 

I have a very simple sketch, just two boxes and a fillet on one corner. But as soon as I try to change the radius of the fillet, my entire sketch moves around. I've tried to set measurements on things, but it doesn't seem to help. Any ideas why this happens, and what I should be doing instead?

There is no coincidence with the origin.

Ah, that's it, thanks Günther!

I've spent most of the day drawing boxes and setting dimensions on them, trying to figure out why they change in the direction they do when I change the dimension. It seems not very logical except when you draw them from the point of origin. So the rule of thumb, I guess, is to always either draw at the origin, or at least have a measurement to it, to get predictable behaviour.
