My recent data disappeared

So I opened Fusion and all my recent data is gone. I managed to move my project into another folder on myhub and it showed up in Fusion 360 so I can continue to work on it. But as I posted before, file management is buggy and confusing. I attach my diagnostic file so maybe this can clear things up. Sorry for repeating myself, but a real offline mode would make things much easier. The user should be able to decide, when data gets uploaded and shared.

Hi @Anonymous,

I'm sorry to hear you're not seeing your recent designs! Just to clarify, you're seeing your project folders as normal in Fusion 360 and the issue is that the My Recent Data list is empty, right? And you're in online mode while this is happening?

If this is the case, have you already cleared your cache and tried switching offline and back online?

Also, although Fusion 360 usually caches the most recently used files for offline use, you can specify if you want a particular design available offline by right clicking it and selecting "Add to offline cache."

Hi, yes in Online mode, but I also tried going offline mode and also caching the project before. Luckily, all my data is still in my hub, it just doesn't show in me recent data. As I stated in another post before, I cannot work entirely offline. Offline cached projects wont show up if I start Fusion without an Internet connection. Furthermore, whenever I start Fusion without an Internet connection, it doesnt recognize my educational license and says that my "term has expired".

This happens to me as well, when the software decides to. It happened to me right now again. Why does it happen? It is a bit annoying.

Apparently this is an ongoing issue in Fusion, which they apparently don't know how to fix.   It is 4/2/2019 and my "My Recent Data," information is completely gone.  I am licensed under Hobbyist licensing, maybe this is normal procedure to randomly delete this information for hobbyists?  Everything was there last night when I shut down.  Luckily I was able to click on File/Open and find it that way. Once I saved the file, it shows up in "My Recent Data."  I wonder if this is a clue: "I changed my preferences to save offline data for 90 days rather than 60" where it had been set before. Could that activity Reset the My Recent Data?

I too am having this problem still today. I lost my entire "Recent data" list. I am a paying licenced user. So I doubt it has anything to do with hobbyists. I see only one project (the one I searched for and saved last time I used it).

When I use the "search" feature my other invisible projects show up (but I want to see them all again, not having to search for them).

Please help!

Thanks!

The files aren't missing. I just use "admin projects" from now on. Everything is still there.
