Hi.
I was working for about 2 hours on a design before it just turned blue - like it is highlighted and selected. I was about to edit joint, when it happened. The other tab is fine. Colour cycling does not work either. I have a new laptop and not sure if this is my laptop or a bug in Fusion360. New models work. After saving and closing it cleared up. I've never had this before, so not sure if reporting it as a bug is any help.
See screen recording and attached log.
Thanks
Hi
I am unable to replicate the condition, but here is the file.
I have been working an a reinforced box yesterday. I selected a feature from the timeline and mirrored it to all four sides of the box. Afterwards the selected feature stayed blue, even if I turned visibility off for the component and the project. The ghost of the feature selection refused to die. Everything else worked normally, even colour cycling. It eventually resolved after I put the timeline in front of the original "extrude" for that feature. Maybe that helps a bit to figure out what is going on.
I found it rather interesting that Fusion warns me on and off that my graphics may be an issue when I use a dual screen. The warning does not always show up, though.
Hi Jacques,
after I opened the file I found this:
Even after reading your post several times I do not know which feature is meant.
I ask you to name the features and actions for future questions. So it would be possible to identify the relevant things with reasonable effort.

This has been happening to me lately. I have a feeling it's related to memory, or lack thereof. I'm using an older Mac Mini with only 8gb and no special GPU, and usually have other apps running as well.
Hi
I've forgotten about this issue as it cleared at some stage. I opened the original as well, and can confirm that it is gone. There was a few updates to Fusion since my original post, so I cannot say for sure where or what the problem was. I do not think in my case it had something to do with RAM, as I was able to open even more complicated designs with no issues. I do think it was specific to the file I attached at the time. Maybe a mirror or something that got broken. For example, I often use sketch patterns, one then run into issues later down the line. In general, I try and avoid sketch patterns as per recommendation. I can guarantee when a sketch pattern (even with the most simple of lines) later and gets copied or mirrored, I will run into performance issues. Basically, don't do it! Better to start a new sketch per pattern. 🙂
Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?
Hi i cant send a file as the bug is fixed by saving and reopening the project, as i have done.
i have had this issue once before and now i noticed that when i cleaned up my timeline it occured again after deliting a lost position .
Best regards
Christoffer H
I just saw something that sounds very similar to this (seemingly all of a sudden the body turned blue and nothing in it was selectable) and it turned out it was caused by me playing around with Select > Selection Priority trying to solve another problem, which had left the Select > Selection Filters menu in a state where nothing was selected except bodies. Clicking Select > Selection Filters > Select All resolved the problem for me.
Finally!
I managed to replicate it.
PS. I replicated it 10 times already.
the workflow is a bit different, but the end result is the same. I suspect it is the same underlying issue: combine-to-create-new-component-amp-keep-tools-continual-blue . I've added this workflow into the bug associated with that thread: FUS-142687. Thanks for tracking this down, @m_pavl_1mail
Thanks for the quick reply!
Also, a few seconds ago, I found how to fix the continually highlighted blue color without reopening Fusion.
(If we are talking about my replication of a bug).
Here are the steps:
Hope it helps somehow.
