Multiple views problem

I am experiencing this issue almost every time after an Update.
I work in Multiple Views. I got used to it, have two 27" monitors, right one is 3D image, Left screen divided Vericaly to side views.
I find that very useful, and easy to see what you doing with model.
Now - The Problem.
Fusion updated itself to 2.0.6032.
Right after that views are messed up. Divide lines are not active anymore, I cant go back to single view, opening two files leave one image from one file over the other. Model stay only in one view, F360 decide which one. Other two Viewports are dead, not displaying anything.MESS. HORRIBLE MESS.

And, oh, yes, not to forget, F360 crashed like 50 times after update??????????????????????????

Of course that almost all crashes I sent report.
I tried everything, graphic settings, driver, ActiveX everything. NOTHING gets it to work properly.

I cannot reproduce that, spanning multi monitors it seems to work fine after the update. What operating system are you running?

I have to test on Windows 10 to see if the same issue occurs. If not, we are looking at something environmental.

I tested this on my windows 10 machine and could not reproduce. It functions fine on my end.

I'm guess its more than likely graphics drivers or you need to clean uninstall and reinstall Fusion.

I restart computer every morning. I deleted Fusion 2 times and loaded back 3 times. My graphic driver is the same as before, and no update on that one is pending.

This issue with multiple viewports is not first time.

It is almost always after update from F360.

I request solution from you, or if you can't find it, give this to someone else, or escalate in Autodesk.

I need program to work.

I do not understand how you deleted twice and reloaded three times. That would most certainly cause issues.

First you need to use the automatic cleanup tool and remove Fusion. https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How...

Then reinstall. I don't know if this is the problem - but that number has me worried.

Then go to AMD and find the most recent graphics driver - which when i searched is newer than the one you have.

*EDIT* I've tested this on as many computers as i can and none have any issues spanning multiple monitors. The only other possibility is that you have effects or preferences set either in Fusion or AMD that i do not have set. I tested all the settings in Fusion with no change.

I managed to reproduce this by restarting Fusion 360 with it spanning multiple monitors in multiple views. Reset default layout did nothing to fix it, neither did switching to dx9.

Do these problems occur when Fusion is maximized on a single display?  Yes i can answer this its broken there too.

I'm testing a clean reinstall and i've been working with the dev team on this already.

When I say I deleted it 2 times, first is original what was in the computer, that is one delete, then one load, second delete, one load delete, last load 3rd what is now in.

I'll try Cleaner procedure.

I am confused with this:

"I managed to reproduce this by restarting Fusion 360 with it spanning multiple monitors in multiple views. Reset default layout did nothing to fix it, neither did switching to dx9."

Is this you saying you reproduced the problem?

This also:

Yes i can answer this its broken there too.

I'm testing a clean reinstall and i've been working with the dev team on this already.

Thank you for all the work and help, if you sucede to get me out of this nightmare. I do have to say, as it happened many times after Update, slowly disappeared and started working properly.

I did Cleaner. It looks like that did the trick. I don't think I lost anything.

I'll try to work on it tomorrow.

If works, I'll buy you a beer.

Hi Ryan,

it did, at first.

Than today all happened again. I replied on my post from April this year, same issue.

Seem to me that switching from Manufacturing (what is single view) to Design (in my case 3 of them) cause program to .....

Program crashed in manufacturing mode, and now is not working, doing same things as I explained.
You said you could recreate. Please open two tabs, one Design one Manufacturing. Just a simple box in each. Try to crash the program (hahahahaha, don't have to try hard), if you can record everything, you guys might find the glitch.

I am having a similar issue on a new Mac Pro with the m1 chip. Every time the computer sleeps, the browser and any click popup options show up on my main monitor, even though I am using Fusion on the secondary monitor. I always have to quit out of Fusion and restart to get all parts on one screen. Time consuming.

@pwsculpture please create e new thread with this issue. You can link to this thread as a reference and even tag other Fusion 360 users by typing the @

This will get you better visibility than adding to an old thread.

Hi Peter,

I didn't look on this thread for a long time, as I don't have any issues like this. Not anymore.

Might be that was caused by Fusion/Graphic card. Who knows.

It did happen after update, since then many updates went by.

Hope you are doing fine?

Doing well, thanks for asking!

I am glad to hear that you don't have those issues anymore! However, there are other issues , less sever but definitely annoying. Thus it's better for @pwsculpture to create a new thread.
