Hi, there.  Is there any chance to show some love 😍 to us windows tablet mode users with stylus? I can't find a way to multiple select specific faces for a example with the stylus only when we are in tablet mode. Will you consider to give as the ability? We just need the ability when we select something to be able to continue to select. Shapr 3D has a very nice and simple implementation.

Thanks for asking.

Does your stylus allow you to program the buttons, such as making one of them shift/ctrl?

Thanks for helping. Yes it does but i tried both Ctrl and shift but it doesn't allow me to multi select.

The problem is probably that it just maps one press regardless if you keep pressing the button. It just presses ctrl and releases it.

Can you please tell me the exact hardware you have? In order to improve this it will help to know as much as possible.

Thank you again! I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 15ALC05, 2021 model and a Lenovo Active pen 2. It's a wacom pen with a wacom digitizer on laptop.

Lenovo Active Pen 2 - ThinkPad X1 Carbon 2nd Gen, Miix 510-12IKB, Miix 510-12ISK, Miix 720-12IKB, Yo...

I was thinking why you just don't make it to just tap with the pen to select something and with the second selection with a pen tap  first selection dosen't unselected like it happens now. Shapr 3D uses this technique and is very simple and works very well

Thanks for the details and suggestions. I've added an improvement request for supporting devices like yours. I hope you can figure out how to get the buttons to hold a modifier key because that's really the problem here. Are there any product forums or tech support for that device that you can ask?

Thank you. I don't think it can be done anything from lenovo's side because i'll ask for something like this. Also i don't think it's just a lenovo problem. Lenovo uses wacom pen and digitizer. I installed from wacom's support page their drivers and it has exactly the same behavior and functions

@vasilis.fragos.vf are you perchance able to try with a different model of active stylus? My Lenovo pen is able to multi-select without any modifier keys (just a tap on each face).

Part of the challenge in diagnosing this issue is that Fusion 360 is using the Windows gesture engine, which means Windows itself likely isn't seeing you "hold" down modifier buttons on the pen. Additionally, not all styluses are designed the same, so we may be looking at something specific to that model of pen, in which case the change would need to happen on the Lenovo/Wacom driver side.

Thank you for trying to help. Very strange that you can select with just taping and i can't, which lenovo pen do you use? Do you think is possible of the preferences you have chosen in the fusion 360 interface?

Ok i think i get it why you say you can multi slelect with just a tap. If you have for example a box and select fillet before you select the edges of the box you can multi select. This is not true the other way around, you can not multi select the edges you want before you select an operation like fillet. Now this is not a problem on this situation as you can select the fillet first. But this not the case in all situations. If you create a form and you want to subdivide two or more faces you can't multi select with just a tap regardless if you select the subdivide operation first, you have to use ctrl or shift.
