Multiple Monitors Menu Bug

So I did search this before hand, and none of them seemed to be exactly what I am describing here. After one of the recent fusion updates. I think it was one of the 2 most recent this behavior started happening. It works initially upon opening and over time the behavior worsens to screenshots below. If I save everything and restart its fine again for a while. But then it returns. Its super annoying...

When I have my monitor connected to my macbook pro 2020 16". Specs below. Screen Shot 2021-06-04 at 2.12.50 PM.png

It does this thing where half of the menus when you click are off on the other screen, or they open way to the right of where they should be...

Monitor is a Dell U2720Q 27" 4K

Any ideas?

And... Yes the the monitor is configured to be the main display when attached to the macbook. All the settings are configured to be inline with the monitor. 60hrz refresh rate etc... I have used it without issue with fusion for over a year. Just one of the recent updates messed it all up!

@vandyckaj thanks for the report! Could you tell me more about the timing of when this issue starts happening, especially with regard to plugging/unplugging displays or changing the display configuration? Does it only happen if you plug in the display while Fusion 360 is running, or does it happen after restart with the display attached, too?

I just created a post on a very similar issue. Mine only happens when waking macbook from sleep.

Does not matter if it is open and I connect or if its closed I connect and then open the software. As long as I have both my macbook screen and the monitor hooked up together, it wants to put all the menus over on the macbook screen and not the monitor itself. I did discover however if I just use the external monitor screen and turn off the macbook screen, that seems to fix the issue. But sort of defeats the purpose of having multiple screens.

Its super handy to have a print of documentation open at the same time as fusion. I hope they have a fix for this soon...
