MS Surface force closes fusion 360 on startup

I am teaching a class.  The class has downloaded the academic version of Fusion 360.  I am having a problem with those students that are running F360 on a Microsoft Surface. The program seems to install fine, but on the first startup of the program, Fusion force closes.  It does not show an error, or a crash report.  It just closes.  This is only happening on the MS Surface machines.  Anyone have any thoughts.  The devices are running 16gb ram and 1gb of video (embedded).

Hi @Anonymous, what type of surface are they? Do you know if they are Surface pro x? (with ARM processors?) If not and they are intel, they might need a firmware update/OS update.

@ryan.bales - Thanks for the reply.  Spent a while online with Autodesk chat and they suggested doing a clean re-install.  While the mystery remains as to why it seems to only effect MS Surfaces, the uninstall/reinstall seems to have worked.  Some of the other threads suggest that the install is getting interrupted even though it looks like it finished successfully. Nonetheless, it appears to be working now.

Thats good news. It's certainly possible something was interrupting it, but curious why it only effected surface pro's.
