Moving part of a split body

I created a body which has a profile with one end a Handle and the other a blade. I realized that the blade part was too short, so I split the body where the blade joined the handle and tried to move the blade away from the handle so that I could then pull the exposed face of the blade back to the handle, with the intension of then joining the two bodies back together. However when I go to the Move Body Command I cannot select the blade part of my split body. What am doing wrong here?

Are you selecting Bodies in the Move/Copy dialog drop down? Just checked and did what you are after doing.
