Mouse scroll panning instead of zooming

I've noticed after the latest update that mouse scrolling pans in the design workspace instead of zoom in/out. I didn't change anything in my preferences, it's set to "Fusion 360" in the "Pan, Zoom, Orbit shortcuts".

Screenshot 01.pngIn one of the Fusion 360 pages in the website, it's mentioned that the roll zooms in and out using Fusion 360's option.

I went through the preferences, but didn't find another option to change the zoom in/out way on the mouse.

Am I missing something?

Thank you.

No help but I agree that scroll behavior has changed for me as well (macOS)

@majedmohammad @Warmingup1953 would you happen to be using an Apple Magic Mouse?

I have discovered a bug with the native trackpad where Fusion is receiving trackpad gesture events when the Magic Mouse's touch surface is used - you'll notice things like 2 finger pinch sometimes "work" unexpectedly.

The quickest temporary fix is going to be using a traditional 3-5 button mouse. The Magic Mouse is unique in that it doesn't have physical buttons - it's all touch translated to mouse events, and for some reason that mouse part isn't happening, so Fusion thinks it's trackpad gestures.

Note to Autodeskers - this is logged as FUS-133609.

Yes I’m using Apple’s Magic Mouse. I’ve been using it for years with Fusion 360 and it was working fine before the update, just recently after the update it’s acting like this.
Is it a temporary issue that will be fixed, or is it something that’s changed in purpose and will stay like that, and I have to change the mouse for it to work correctly?
Thank you.

It is temporary, we are currently debugging the issue.
