Mouse becomes (partially) unresponsive when editing a sketch

So I think I am experiencing a recurring bug but being fairly new to the app I am not 100% sure I dont keep doing something to cause the issue.  While editing a sketch everything will be working fine and then I will not be able to select any curves or faces.  I can click on any of the tool bar icons, I can show/hide objects from the left menu and I can change the view by clicking the nav cube or if I select the orbit tool.  It is like my left click button stops working as soon as the mouse focus is on the sketch grid.  Also, while I was editing the sketch, when this happens I no longer see the "Finish Sketch" button or right hand menu to edit the sketch but if I right click on the sketch I do not have an option to "Edit Sketch".

The only way I have found to recover the mouse functionality is to save everything and completely exit F360.  I have checked every setting I am aware of selection filters are all enabled.   Fortunately when I restart the app all of my work is properly saved but it is really annoying.

Grateful for any ideas...

I will try to do that when it happens again. I did discover last night
that if I redefine the sketch plane and move the sketch to a different
component and then back again things seem to start working again properly
without having to exit the app completely.

Hello @Anonymous ,

Thanks for your feedback.

I have one more query : the issue you faced was just after you restart after recent update? Or it was just random?

For now I will wait till you reply for the issue of reproducible.

I have not been able to reproduce the issue so far.  Perhaps it was something I did incorrectly, still learning here.
