Model skin to upload on traceparts

Hello,

There is a way to "export" only the skin of an assembly to IGES or STEP format  .

We have a lot of assembly to show to customers or to upload on website like traceparts but we don't want to show the internal details or internal body of products ( and is not easy to hide all components /parts before publish the for CAD models tu public website ).

The only data the customers needs are the external dimensions, the shape of products and the fixing point.

There is a feature for this kind of procedure ?

There is no built-in feature for this. You'd likely be best doing something like export and then combine bodies on the exported file so its more or less one homogeneous body.

Yes, I have news. 

Well, old news.

This has existed in Autodesk Inventor Professional for several years.  (My memory could be wrong, but I think even before Fusion 360 existed.)
