Model Representation

I would like to change my model rep between the full assembly and an area I am working on. Is this possible.

Turning the visibility of each item on and off doesn't cut it and it is time consuming.

Also when creating a drawing, can I select parts of the assembly without having to turn all of the parts i dont want off

Fusion 360 does not have View Representations but you can get a little closer to what you want by using the Isolate and Unisolate command. Take a look at the Screencast.
