HI,

In the attached study type Modal Frequency with point mass, the mass participation factors are zero.

Is it a bag?

Thank you

Hi @miano_s

Thank you for posting! Smiley Happy

Unfortunately, I found something wrong in the Point mass. We could get the mass participation without that option.

I'm going to report it to the development team and if I receive any response I will get back to you. Sorry for the inconvenience.

As a workaround,

If you consider about the mass on the body, you can edit "Density" in the material properties.

In the Model environment, you can check the Volume and we already know the mass so you can change the density.

One more thing, I found something the rods were not constrained and there's no connection between other parts. so you should add a new constraint or modify the model to be connected to get the precise results.

Hopefully, this will help. Smiley Wink

Many thanks,

Ahreum.

Hi ahreum.ryu

 thank you for the reply.

It is not only a matter of increasing mass but also of distributing it.

I must be able to move the mass along the cantilever.

I will wait for the bug fix.
