Misplaced components when moving them in the browser

Hi,
I'm having trouble positioning screws in an assembly. It's a large assembly, and I need grouped components, which I achieve through putting components within components within components. I have a group for screws, but since some time back, I get these warnings when I try select some imported screws and move them in the browser tree (after having broken the link).
Warning: CutPaste Screw MRT M2x6 92832A109_CLASS 8.8 TORX BUTTON-HEAD SOCKET CAP SCREW v1:4

Warning: CutPaste Screw MRT M2x6 92832A109_CLASS 8.8 TORX BUTTON-HEAD SOCKET CAP SCREW v1:2

After which the screws have moved in the global position to what seem to be random places, sometimes away back from the assembly.
This problem seem to dissappear if I export the assembly as a .step file, upload it and open a new design. The problem with this workaround is that I have drawings for some of the parts in the assembly that I want to keep associated to the ones in the exported assembly. So I wont have to remake a drawing each time I modify a component.
So my question is, can the misplace components bug be fixed or is there a way of associating a drawing with a component in a different design.
I would like to post some pics, but It's a file at work and thus secret material.
