@Phil.E

Customer had a question about changing a Fillet radius on imported geometry.

I suggested Delete (face) and enter new Fillet feature.

The tool tip indicates that, Does not create a feature in the Timeline, yet it clearly does.

Moreover - the original geometry can be restored simply by going back in Timeline history or delete the Delete timeline feature node.

Hmm. That's a funny one. Have you tried only using techniques that always return expected behavior?

???

@FrodoLoggins

The behavior works exactly as I expect.

If you go back and read the title of the post - the discussion is about the Tool Tip giving misleading information, not about the predictable behavior of the tool.

Q. Do you normally work the Capture Design History enabled?

Lol. Predictable behavior according to users or according to Autodesk? Because according to Autodesk the expected behavior is that deleting that face "does not create a feature in the timeline". ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Just like the offset plane/section view tools work exactly like I'd expect: Randomly. It definitely shouldn't be random but that's exactly what I expect.

No why would I? I literally have no reason to and every reason not to. Fusion's buggy/slow enough as is plus I value my screen real estate. Even if those weren't the cases I'd have no use.

It's an option. I'm choosing not to use it. You're free to enable it I don't care lol.
