Mirror function broken

I cannot mirror any of these cut/extrusion features to the other side of the body. When I go to the mirror command it only says "body". There should be a drop down to select "feature" and other things. Where did it go what am I doing wrong?

you are editing a Direct Modeling design.  In DM designs, there is no type dropdown, you just select the objects you want from the graphics area or the browser.

Your browser listing features, that would normally be in the timeline, 

suggests to me that you are working without the timeline, and the mirror command may have to be dumbed down for that situation.

I can not work without a timeline, a suggestion that you can investigate pending definitive information from others.
