Milestone will freeze out fusion

Whenever I try and save a milestone (by right clicking on the design in the left side explorer) and save a new milestone, Fusion will freeze out for several minutes.

If I try and add a milestone while I'm saving the part, it will work fine. However i wont be able to exit fusion for a while, getting the error that some design are not done uploading. This can last for minutes, or hours.

This issue has been haunting me for several months and support wasn't able to resolve it. I figured i might try the forums. Usually when this happens I will just open the task manager, kill the fusion instance running, reboot and most of the time it works fine.

Oddly i have the exact same issues when opening drawings, sometimes it will freeze out for several minutes. I just kill fusion, restart and open the exact same drawing in seconds.

Wanna hear a good joke?

What's the difference between Fusion360 and a girl I went on a date with?

There's no difference, when I ask them to do something they are "not responding". Ah Ah Ah!

I'm sorry for your reports using Fusion 360 on your workstation, I'm curious and would like to get more information about your situation:

- What would be your operating system to run the software;
- What are your workstation's hardware configurations;
- During your work routine, did you carry out tests with Fusion 360 connected to the cloud and also offline?

Hey Lucas,

I'm running on Windows 10 home

12th Gen i5-12600KF

32GB ram

Nvidia RTX-2060

Corsair RM650x PSU

Running on Ethernet, ~540mbps DL, ~260mbps UL

Other hardware is 3dConnexion Cadmouse, SpaceMouse wireless, KeyboardPro, Asus ROG XG49VQ monitor

I did not try to work on offline mode. Usually my workflow is to create a "project design" and import "component designs" inside of it. I have to instance of fusion running on my computer (ultra wide screen). On the left i'll have my "project design" open and on the right i'll work on my "component designs". I'll adjust the components until they are ok and then get latest on my project to update everything. This workflow is really good for the type of projects im doing.

Other relevant info, i'm running some add-ons : Bommer, Datapro, ParametricText, ParametersIO

I did try to shut them down and was able to recreate the same issue.

Let me know if that helps.

I've opened up a ticket with support over this issue. If i try to use miestone i'll freeze fusion out. Obviously i try to avoid it for now.

The drawings freezing out it driving me nuts. I think I've restarted fusion over 20 times today. It's at the point where it's affecting my work performance... Can't manage to bill hours because of this. Anything that will help with this issue will be a big pain relief...
