Mesh parts in assembly incorrectly export in the assembly as another part

I am making a multi-component assembly to print as one piece. Two of my files are mesh files that were generated with an online platform. When I assemble the pieces in the design editor, the two mesh pieces are appropriately presented (shown here as gray and blue).

When I export the file as an .STL, however, the blue component is presented as the gray as shown below.

How can I correct this issue?
