Mesh does not have positive volume - problem with .stl files

Hello, I am new to Fusion360. I have downloaded an .stl file and it shows that it "does not have positive volume" when i import it. I can not see the mesh and the repair tool does not help. I just have blank canvas with the error. Could anyone help me with this problem ? Does it have something to do with some PC settings regarding 3D oriented files ? Thanks.

It shows me this error when I try to send you the file "The attachment's body bottom.stl content type (application/vnd.ms-pkistl) does not match its file extension and has been removed." 😕

If on Windows OS - right click on the file name and select Send to Compressed (zipped) Folder.

Attach the resulting *.zip file here.

Not sure how to do the >>zipping on a Mac OS<<.

I do not own a license to a rar extractor on my clean Fusion 360 machine.

I only own Windows OS license for zipping/extracting zip files on my clean Fusion 360 machine.

For some reason I am not seeing anything in the stl files.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Yes, that is exactly my problem... I can not see anything when I open the file. I do not know what is with the file. It works on friend's fusion and it is the same file.

You are looking at different files on your friends computer.

What is the link for the download of the stl files - where did you get them?  GrabCAD?

You need to go to GitHub yourself and download the zip file containing the model.  You will find all the STL files in it under the indicated folder.  I attached the ZIP file in case you cannot figure out how to find and download it.  I tested a couple of the STL files and they have no issue.
