Max OS X transparency strange behaviour (+ selection drag obj)

Hi,

I continue to see all the object transparent, from time to time when I switch back or change modality, they come back "solid" but I can't understand the process to reproduce it.

For the moment EVERYTHING is transparent no matter what (I see the lines and every element inside every component non isolated).

I tried the Active component visibility disabled and enabled, to change the opacity of any component but it did not change. I'm not sure if it is just me or it is a mac problem.

I was in screencast with a friend with windows, same model --> different visualization (solid) I could not manage to change the view in the same way (starting from the same file model, from the example of a course on Udemy).

I'd be glad if anyone could clarify this strange behaviour... (maybe I'm just SO noob...)

Kind regards,

Andrea

Hi @motenay,

welcome to Fusion 360 Community Forum.

I would first try to:

  1. Activate the main component (i.e. the whole assembly) in the browser tree
  2. Restore the defaults for Fusion 360 (Profile Name -> Preferences -> Restore Defaults) - please note that this might change some settings that you adjusted yourself,
  3. Restart Fusion 360.

If that does not help, could you record and share a screencast of this behavior so that we can try and reproduce it (see: How to use Autodesk Screencast to document a support issue)?

Thanks!

That actually fixed all of it!

After the restart the mysterious transparency and the selection problem disappeared as well.

Thanks a lot!

Kind regards
