Can someone explain why I cannot see all wood material in my material library. Most items are grey

Hi @KLathwell ,

 

Physical materials are used to define the physical properties to the design and if we want to change the appearance, then we can apply them through Fusion 360 Appearances.

Some of the physical materials don't all have a set appearance(grayed out), as there are not enough different wood appearances to represent all wood physical materials.

 

Can you please list which wood material is missing in the library?

Thanks for a quick reply but Im not sure if I completely understand. I though the whole point of a material library was to access materials for pasting into drawings etc. When I used sketchup this was the case so I assumed Fusion being a more professional package would have many different materals etc or am I using the wrong process
