Material I made showing up white when locally rendered

I've noticed lately that sometimes materials I'll edit will render as flat white when I locally render. In canvas rendering will show the correct material.

I start with a default fabric from the material library and add a new PARAMETERS image and RELIEF PATTERN map just like I would in Keyshot, but it seems like lately local renderings won't recognize adjusted textures. I doubt it's the lighting or the texture itself since the in canvas rendering shows the correct material, it just doesn't produce the quality I need.

This is a Fusion local rendering problem, I would like to move this topic to Fusion forum for here has more Fusion experts could help.

@Brian.Kovesci it would be helpful if you could share the model to let us check it.

Thanks,

I'll keep fiddling, and if the issue surfaces in a file I'm able to share I'll reply with it.

Currently having this issue right now too.  in canvas render is fine but as soon as I do local render the material processes as white.  not sure what the issue is.  As you can see the part thats white is not supposed to be white.  it should be showing up like the pillow top on the right hand side.  The pillow top is a linked component and the other white pieces are just bodies

Hey Guys,

I think this is my first post here, so hello! Is there a solution to this problem? I´ve got exactly the same issue. I modified the downloadable mdf material with another texture (just darkened the .jpg a little) and applied it to a simple assembly. When rendering it appears flat white, while its appearance is correct in the canvas rendering preview.

When I change the material to the "original" MDF, it renders fine.

I've found no explanation or workaround. Whenever I see a material render stark white I scrap the texture I created and start fresh or use a standard material.

Thank you for your help. It ist working meanwhile. I reopened the material and saved it again after applying a change to one parameter.

It happened to me too. The image I was using as texture was "missing" so I just re-link the image in the advance options of the materials. Hope this helps.

I'm having the exact same issue with a glut of recently created Appearances. I've tried adjusting Brightness, re-attaching the texture image etc, but the issue remains.

In-Canvas & Cloud Render are fine, but Local Render just turns those custom Appearances white. I've not encountered the issue previously with other CA's either.

I have the same issue, it's super annoying to put a bunch of renders in the queue and find them with missing textures when I come back!  On a Mac, I tried moving my texture folder from an iCloud synced folder into my Library folder, re-linked the images and so far, it's working fine now.
