Material Download Unsuccessful

Warning: Material download was unsuccessful. Please check your network connection

 

This happens often. My connection is perfectly fine. I get halted at the worst times (looming deadlines) due to this. Is there a fix, or a work around, like saving my materials to my desktop?

Hi @brentV2NPV,

 

Just to check - are you on a corporate network? I'd be curious if the downloads are being blocked. As far as I know, there is no way to locally download these materials. I believe once they are downloaded, they are local - but the download process itself is a network operation.

 

Can you please provide your diagnostic log files from the Help menu after a failed download.

It was as simple as updating Fusion 360. Looks like an update was pending, and I needed to restart. It would have been helpful to know that was the solution. If the error message indicated, I would have immediately, but I was not aware it was updating. I will pay more attention next time I guess.
