Hi, My name is Darío, I'm a student here in Ecuador. Nice to meet you all. I have a question about the tool "Manufacturing" in the study of Generative Design, I want to learn all of that tool, what the 3, 2-5, 5 axis means, I want to know all of additive, 2 axis cuttting, millin and Die casting, what they refers. If someone can help me with that, I Would be very gratefull. Thanks and have a great day.

Also I dont know if generative design can make this if i tell him so, that I need to work with beams UPN140 mild steel, so if the program can relate to this cuts if would be awesome. That's why I want to learn all of this tool "Manufacturing"

Hey dpesantesp,

In generative design, the 2.5, 3, and 5 axis options are geometrical constraints. For example, if you apply a 3-axis constraint, the solution will be capable of being manufactured using only a 3-axis CNC machine.

There are lots of resources to help you get going with the topics you're interested in.
